Amy has been doing massage therapy since 1997 in both the clinical and
spa settings. Most of her experience has been cultivated in the
chiropractic environment where she has worked side by side with the
doctor on complicated musculoskeletal issues in people who have been
injured on the job or in motor vehicle accidents. She has also
volunteered at a nonprofit clinic for children with cerebral palsy,
helping to ease their hypertonic muscles.
In addition to traditional relaxing Swedish massage, Amy specializes in a
blend of trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue and
myofascial release as well as her new passion, CranioSacral therapy.
CranioSacral therapy has profoundly added to her ability to serve others
in their pursuit for physical alignment and well-being.
In her spare time, Amy uses her B.A. in Professional Writing for editing,
research, and other writing projects. She also devotes herself to the
study of dance and live food preparation, both whisking her away to
workshops, retreats, and farmers markets.
