Corrective sports massage is a means to manipulate problem areas that inhibit competition such as excessive tight muscles that can create misalignment. To achieve this goal we use a series of active and passive stretch techniques to improve range of motion and decrease muscle spasms.
Pre-Sports massage is good before a sporting event. The jostling of muscle tissue is intended to invigorate the athlete before competition and to warm the tissue as a means to avoid injury.
Post-Sports Massage is the vigorous milking of muscle tissue after competition in order to flush the body of built up lactic acid.
