Genevra holds over 17 years of massage and spa experience. Her vision for Zama is rooted in “healing the world one person at a time,” ultimately creating a different kind of spa – a world class therapeutic-pain relief focused facility where detox, spa pampering, and compassionate care exist under one roof. She personally trains to ensure the Massage Therapists, Estheticians and Customer Care Team are aligned with the vision of Zama: to give each and every Zama guest the opportunity to find relief from stress and pain, and provide them with an overall sense of well-being.
Genevra is fortunate to have a loving and supportive husband who helps in manifesting the vision for Zama. They most recently welcomed twins into the world and have a toddler as well so life is busy for this little family. Genevra also loves spending time with her two pups and two kitties, she does Hot Yoga 4x a week and her passion is cooking Italian food for her family.
Shelley has over 25 years of retail management experience in the cosmetics industry. She learned about customer service early in her career at Nordstrom. She has worked as an account manager for MAC cosmetics, Chanel, and Benefit cosmetics and most recently was a store manager at Starbucks. She is focused on giving each client the best possible experience while they are at Zama.
When she is not working Shelley spends time with her husband Larry and their dog Lucy. She also enjoys doing hot yoga and cooking for friends and family.
Maddie has over 6 years in leadership and customer care! Her passion for wellness began at a young age and her love for self care has only grown over time. From DIY skin care in her mothers kitchen to studying to be an esthetician, Maddie’s goal is to aid in creating spaces of healing and peace of mind for others. Maddie loves to help create the best Zama experience for guests and staff. In her off time she enjoys being out in nature and making her own body scrubs, creams, and candles.
Julie assists and manages our esthetician team at Zama. With over 5 years of top management, sales, accounting, customer and leadership experience, Julie prides herself in with excellence in service and leadership. Julia focuses on high performance, detailed-oriented, fast learning, professionalism and being an effective team player in all her projects. Julia loves focusing on our company vision and bringing our core values to life in how she serves our guests and staff.
Julie is a Licensed Esthetician for over 9 years and studied at Paul Mitchell the School of Portland. She enjoys performing Hydrafacial and working with Éminence Organic Skin Care. With a BA in General Science and certified education from Stanford University School of Medicine in Food and Nutrition and a passion for health and wellness, she strives to implement her knowledge to transform our guests’ lives through whole-person care, creating a holistic spa experience.
Julia loves to spend time dining out with her 12-year old daughter, Naomi. Together, they are exploring Portland one bite at a time.
Lindsey has been practicing massage therapy for 7 years and specializes in Craniosacral, Oncology massage, Lymphatic massage, Deep Tissue, Cupping, and general wellness techniques. With a background in Emergency services and phlebotomy, she structures her sessions around tempered knowledge of anatomy blended with intuition.
Her personal mantra is “No one should have to live in chronic pain.”
In her free time, she spends her days with her life partner traveling, camping, swimming, hiking, making short films, and playing shows with her band. She also loves walking her dog Traveler and spending leisure afternoons with her cat Jazz.
