Genevra holds over 12 years of massage and spa experience, specializing in modalities such as myofascial release therapy, deep tissue/sports therapy, Sufi healing, cupping, Ashiatsu, and Reiki. Genevra carries years of experience in owning businesses and marketing them. Her dreams for Zama are rooted in “healing one person at a time,” ultimately creating a different kind of spa – a world class guest-focused facility, where pain relief, detox, spa pampering, and heart centered care exist under one roof. She personally trains the massage therapists, making sure that each of them are aligned with the vision of Zama: to give each and every Zama guest freedom and healing from stress and pain, and provide them with an overall sense of well-being. Genevra believes that at Zama, every guest is a VIP.
Genevra loves to spend time traveling and dreaming with her husband, Daniel Cardoso, a prominent and respected member of the Portland business community. Together they are exploring five star spas around the world, and have big plans that are soon to come for the vision of Zama.
Natashia has 10 plus years of experience in this industry. She is a licensed cosmetologist and studied at Phagans School of Beauty in September of 2009. Natashia joined the Zama family in March 2017 and specialized in esthetic and nail care services. Natashia’s specialties include facials and waxing services.
Over the years, Natashia worked extensively throughout Zama’s Skincare and Nail Departments. Her dedication, skillfulness and strong understanding of client care lead her to take lead as both lead Nail technician and a Lead Esthetician. After mastering those positions she was promoted to the Assistant Spa Director. We are thrilled to now have her as the current Spa Director at Zama Massage.
Natashia has always had a passion for the customer service industry and enjoys providing a warm and welcoming environment for each guest that enters the spa! She believes that each guest deserves to have a 5 star experience no matter what service they signed up for. She enjoys making sure each guest leaves zama with a smile on their face and hopes that we had a positive impact on their day ahead.
Natashia has one daughter named Nevaeh which is spelled “heaven backwards” and has a loving supporting husband. She enjoys spending time with them when she is not working and absolutely loves being a mom and wife!

Zama Massage is the friendliest spa I’ve ever been to, by far. I went here for a Swedish massage my mom had bought me for my birthday (thanks, mom!). It’s 4 blocks from my apartment, so I walked, although they do have parking in the back.
Zama is located in a 2-story house, which instantly makes you feel at home. Their reception is very friendly and hospitable. “Cute shoes” “Would you like some tea while you wait?” type of stuff.
Lindsey did my Swedish massage. She was very kind and warm and made me feel very much at ease. The massage was amazing too– on your forms they have you circle particular areas of your body you’re experiencing pain, so Lindsey worked through my shoulders, neck and upper back really well.
I left this place in a happy, oily daze. Zama is the best way to treat yourself. Or “treat yo self.” – Katie
